I would like to propose #40 (Probing Java
application behavior with Probekit) for long talk.
This is a really cool stuff that no one
outside TPTP knows much about. Of late, it has been getting noticed by
community.

Subject:
[eclipse.org-eclipsecon-program-committee] Agenda for Friday,January 6th
telecon (10am PST)
- Close on length of Thursday
program (we were voting for the “long day” previously; need to
confirm that’s our preference).
- Closing on the two remaining
business track selections. From Maher’s email:
> I second Mike
recommendation to accept 313. I also recommend that we
> keep 268 if we have
room to do so.
- Closing
on additional (non-business) long talks. We have 2 open slots with a short
Thursday, 7 with a long Thursday. Our previous TBD/NMI list was:
- 77 + 6 – feedback on
contrib. / JDT build-in (researching merged talk option)
- Scott Lewis ECF long talk
(researching Scott’s willingness)
- 215 (apt talk)
- Need more info on 269
Looks like we got a
“no” on the first of these, and so far it looks like a
“no” on the second. 215 was on the list for consideration. If
Ian’s on the call, he can address the NMI on 269.
- I also
received a belated request from the platform project (Kevin Haaland): “I didn't see any talks
or tutorials from SWT and I think we need to find room in the schedule for
one.” I see #33 (http://canuck.gda.itesm.mx/eclipsezilla/show_bug.cgi?id=33),
so we can discuss whether there are other candidates and whether to pursue
this request.
- Time
permitting, I’d also like to discuss the plan for handling short
talks and whether we want to attempt to organize them into “mini
tracks” of related topics to cut down on traffic.
