Now that we have added some additional slots for long talks could I suggest/request that the PC consider adding more content for embedded developers?   It would certainly help appeal to this community if we add 3-4 more talks that dealt with embedded topics.   Doug, I think you still have the prioritize list from the embedded marketing team.  Hopefully that will help with the selection.

Thanks

Ian

News/review/agenda:

  • In the last call we agreed to shift to 45 minute sessions to enable more talks to be delivered
  • Bjorn sent out a proposed schedule containing the keynotes, plenaries, and long talks we’ve accepted to date. Please take a look at this and provide feedback to Bjorn.
  • We’ll be making additional long talk selections at this Wednesday’s call: please come prepared with some recommendations, esp. for platform and “non-project” topics
  • A review of the math
    • 6 business talks are scheduled (Bjorn’s chart doesn’t have the approved-but-not-entered “BEA/Shane” talk)
    • 2 business slots remain to be filled
    • 3 “EMO” slots remain to be filled (not by the PC)
    • 15 slots are reserved for short talks (75 total) [requires a full Thursday]
    • That leaves 24 additional long talks to pick (which is what I conjectured at the last telecon – whew.)
