The submitters of

 

Designing Eclipse API’s ( http://canuck.gda.itesm.mx/eclipsezilla/show_bug.cgi?id=151 )

 

have provided additional information to illustrate the rationale for using the tutorial format for their presentation this year, rather than a long talk. (Recall that we declined this tutorial with the expectation of accepting a long talk form of it.) Based on feedback from last year, the EMO also guided the submitters in the direction of a tutorial, which the program committee didn’t know during our selection decision.

 

Bjorn also made a request that we reconsider this presentation in its tutorial format, and is willing to assist us by not requiring that another tutorial be removed – he is working with the facility organizers to allocate one addition room (at some distance from the others) to enable us to add this without otherwise altering our existing tutorial program.

 

Let’s talk about this remaining item briefly before we begin long talk discussions at this morning’s call.
