Re: [eclipse.org-eclipsecon-program-committee] The allocation of slotsbetween long and short
There were:
  • 3 invited talks
  • 2 plenaries
  • 9 panels & workshops
  • 44 long talks
  • = total of 53 45-minute slots
This year I've made the long talks longer to allow sufficient time for questions and demos. And I've added a fourth and fifth parallel rooms (last year we had 3 1/2 parallel rooms). So a bit of a change, but hopefully one to allow more information flow.

PS: How many paper presentations were in EC 2005 program?
