No they are monstrously verbose and not trivial to predict.

With Bugzilla, Bug 123456 was accessible as bugs.eclipse.org/123456.

With Git we have lost the beauty of a single Eclipse-wide bug-space. We still need one. My previous suggestion was ignored so I repeat it.

With GIT, Eclipse Help Desk Issue 1234 should be informally referenceable as ehd#1234 and formally referenceable as something like bugs.eclipse.org/ehd#1234.

Most projects have short unique names for their JIPPs so these would seem like the most appropriate spelling for the GIT issue prefix.
