Greetings Eclipse committers,
Just a quick update from infra-land:
EclipseCon Europe
EclipseCon Europe is a great place to meet up with the Foundation
staff -- IP team, release engineers, marketing experts, web
developers, project & process and yours truly on the Webmaster
front. We'll be seeking you out to discuss ways we can help your
project(s) thrive. If we don't find you, please find us! The
conference runs from Oct 23-25.

CBI - Common Build Infra
CBI has undergone some important changes recently, including the
new Kubernetes+Docker-powered environment at
https://jenkins.eclipse.org. Like all the Foundation's services,
CBI does not operate at zero-cost, and we've defined the CBI
offering in more clear terms. Notably, the resources and support
levels that projects can expect to receive from CBI, as well as
additional resources that are available to projects that are
backed by a Member company.
Please read more about CBI here:

Portal Shutdown
For a decade, the Committer portal at https://portal.eclipse.org/
was the go-to destination for all things Project-related:
committer elections, paperwork, IP and CQ, and so on. As it aged,
it became difficult to maintain, and as better tool options became
available, we've migrated its functionality to more intuitive
locations on our website.
As such, the old portal will be shut down permanently on October
31. The effort is tracked in http://eclip.se/469321
GDPR and Project Virtual Servers
Under the GDPR, we must be very careful with user data that we
collect, store and disseminate, and this extends to Virtual
Servers that are allocated to those projects who specifically need
(and ask) for one. Since we do not control or manage those
vservers, we'll be publishing a Policy to govern user data on
vservers. We will contact vservers owners directly for this.
Thanks for reading. We hope to see you at EclipseCon in a few
weeks! If you have any questions or concerns, please file a bug
or contact us directly at webmaster@xxxxxxxxxxx
