Hi
        there,
I would like to nominate Jens Reimann to the Eclipse
        Architecture Council.

For those who are familiar with what’s happening
under the Eclipse IoT Working Group and top-level project, you
probably already know Jens from the many roles he has, from PMC
leader to project leader to technology advocate at many
        conferences around the world.
Jens has been involved with the Eclipse community
for many years already, and knows ours processes very well. He
has been of great help to get some great initiatives off the
ground, for example setting up Mattermost to get an OSS
alternative to Slack for project teams and the community at
large. He’s also particularly active when it comes to improving
our security policy and making sure that we have a clear process
for reporting vulnerabilities and handling them properly. Those
are just two examples of initiatives that benefit the community
at large, and I believe having Jens on the AC would only make it
easier to get him involved in all the discussions relevant to
improving our processes and overall community.

Please join me in casting your vote for Jens!

      Thanks,
      Benjamin

PS: note that, technically, we have a vacant seat for
the IoT PMC representation at the AC, since Julien Vermillard
stepped down from the IoT PMC a few months ago. However I do
feel like Jens deserves a proper nomination purely based on
his merit, and beyond having him "just" be the IoT PMC rep :-)
