Greetings Architecture Council. Please direct your attention to Bug 484045 - Provide instructions on how to use GitHub features in compliance with EF policies [1] I've assigned this bug temporarily to the Architecture Council to gather requirements. As more projects start using GitHub as the hosting solution for their repositories, we fielding questions about how the various services are to be used. In addition to the questions that are actually being asked, we need put some thought into the questions that aren't being asked to provide guidance in terms of conformance to our various policies. Your help will be appreciated. Even if you can only provide an example of a potential concern, it will be a great help. Most of you have experience working with GitHub-based projects. What EDP or IP Policy challenges have you faced? Feel free to discuss here, but I'd prefer to capture the requirements on the bug.
