I promise you that no one here is questioning your involvement with the JSR. I personally think that it would be great. If you do join, thank you for representing the Eclipse and e4 communities!

I just wish I knew what their agenda is. I believe you when you say that e4 already implements most of what they want. But I also believe that they are going to build a reference implementation which is not based on e4. Which implies that they have already decided that they want to build something that competes with e4, and the work that you have done with integrating JavaFX. Why they feel that is necessary is somewhat perplexing.
