EclipseCon is only a few days away! As an attendee, get ready for a conference that will leave you wanting more. You won’t want to miss a minute, so here’s some helpful information to get the most out of your time at EclipseCon.
Registration Hours: Registration is open 4-8pm on Sunday; if you have a Monday morning
tutorial, Sunday is the best time to register. Registration opens at 7:30am on Monday. Registration is located in the World Trade Center on the Mezzanine Level.
Tutorials: Before arriving at the conference, please be sure to read any emails sent by tutorial presenters and check the online abstracts for the tutorials you plan to attend. Some
presenters have included detailed information on system requirements and packages to download; make the most of your tutorial hours by being prepared ahead of time! If you need to remember what tutorials you signed up for, click
here to access your registration record.
Food: We are NOT serving breakfast at EclipseCon this year, so please plan accordingly. There will be coffee service, but no food. Nearby options for breakfast include the
Aura Restaurant at the Seaport Hotel, coffee shops in the hotel and conference center, and various places in the neighborhood.
Conference Apps: The conference apps are now available. Visit the app stores to find the EclipseCon app for iPhone, iPad, Android, and BlackBerry. Huge thanks to Peter Friese, Christian
Campo, and Ekke Gentz for creating the apps.
Parking: There is parking in the Seaport Hotel garage. Rates and parking information can be found
here.
On behalf of John Arthorne (Program Chair), Mike Milinkovich (Executive Director), Anne Jacko (Operations Chair), and myself (Conference Chair), we look forward to seeing you all next week – travel safely!
Regards,
Ian Skerrett
