Just an update
on the process. The first step is that the Platform committers approve
you as co-lead. There is no tool for that, so, you have to send your request
to the platform-dev mailing list. If that's successful the PMC and EMO(ED)

Lars,
I have been the most
active committer in reviewing bug fixes and features for Platform Debug
and Ant. Big feature contributions from non committers were reviewed by
me for example Bug
492788 -
Proposal: Launch Groups, Bug
492788- Proposal: Launch Groups, Bug
412809- Add support for the include task etc. 
 
And I plan to continue
the review and increasing/fix the code base for Platform Debug and Ant
in future.

+1 for no restrictions
on which project lead need to approve. Otherwise we end up making everyone
project lead of every project only to approve patches 
 
Let's discuss in our
next PMC call.  
 
Leadership means in
my opinion to grow the community, review patches and protect and advance
the code base. I don't see Sarika very active in these areas  in platform.The
desire to approve end game patches is IMHO not sufficient to become project
lead.
 
Sarika do you also
plan to actively review platform patches (not coming from existing committers)
and help to grow the platform development community?
