Re: [eclipse-pmc] Adding egit to Eclipse Classic

EPP would have to offer and maintain the package. I have no clue how much resources are involved to do this.

Subject: [eclipse-pmc] Adding egit to Eclipse Classic

Hi PMC,

The topic of adding egit to Eclipse Classic came up in today’s Architecture Council meeting.

I think we’re aligned that this should be done using the EPP (packaging) project, it’s currently tracked here:
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=397896

My personal question at this point is just, how much work is it and who’s going to do it ?
Thanks,
Martin
