Re: [eclipse-pmc] One Eclipse project is still using CVS

I think we are all done, except for one cvs project, org.eclipse.releng.basebuilder, and that is one we don't want to blindly put in git (because it is mostly a whole lot of binary copies of sdk bundles -- 4 Gigabyte's worth) but instead move two or three small projects into git and then build with SDK. Tracked in bug 324682.

Its on my list of things-to-do this year, so, yes, almost ready.

That's all I am aware of.

Greetings Eclipse PMC.

The eclipse.platform.releng project is still using CVS. The project metadata indicates that there are two CVS repositories still in use.

http://eclipse.org/projects/project.php?id=eclipse.platform.releng

Is this just inaccurate metadata, or does this repository need to be moved to Git?

Further, there seems to be ~450 directories under /cvsroot/eclipse that are potentially active (i.e. they still seem writeable to me).

Is the Eclipse project ready for the CVS shutdown?

Wayne
