I'm not sure I understand this... We have built a library, that requires parts
of GWT to be compiled, so we are *referencing* their API, but we don't actually
ship the code that implements it. Correct?

So, what is it the IP team is trying to resolve? That it is ok for us to access
(but not redistribute) the GWT code, or is it something to do with referencing
their API in our source?
