Thread-topic: Setting up mirror of CVS source tree ...

Has anybody setup a mirror of the CVS source tree using rsync or CVSup? I am looking to replicate the CVS database ($CVSROOT) itself using these tools and not just the download binaries, let me know where I can find the details on how to do this if possible !

I am looking for something like what FreeBSD has available http://www.freebsd.org/doc/en_US.ISO8859-1/books/handbook/cvsup.html .
