The minutes from the Eclipse IDE Development Funding Initiative meeting held on June 17, 2026 are now available:

The Development Funding Initiative is managed by representatives designated by the Eclipse IDE Working Group to oversee the allocation and execution of the pooled development funds contributed by Working Group members and sponsors: https://eclipseide.org/working-group/development-funding-initiative/

Meeting participants included:

• Thomas Froment, Eclipse IDE Working Group Program Manager at Eclipse Foundation
• Sharon Corbett, Program Director, Industry Collaborations at Eclipse Foundation
  
• Heiko Klare, Steering Committee Technical Delegate and Eclipse Planning Council Lead

During the meeting, the group reviewed the status of ongoing funded activities and discussed future funding priorities. A significant outcome was the completion of a comprehensive prioritisation exercise based on topics identified by the Eclipse Planning Council. This work provides a transparent framework for directing available funding towards the areas that provide benefit to the Eclipse IDE ecosystem.
