Hi all,
The Eclipse IDE landing page highlights some of the features of the release. Please see the landing page for the past release -

for example.
Similar to the previous releases, I would like to gather inputs from the community on features that can be highlighted on the page for 2026-09
release. The content that I have curated so far are :

Improved Java Development Tooling : A new wizard option to create compact source files for Java 25 and later projects, a new quick assist to convert enhanced for loops to forEach statements, and
a new option in the Java editor hyperlink popup to open types and methods in a cloned tab.

Improved Plug-in Development Tooling : Dedicated
p2.inf editor support with syntax highlighting and context-aware content assist in the Plug-in Manifest and Feature Manifest editors, improved
Show Launch Bundles dialog with sorting, search, and duplicate bundle highlighting, and a new option in launch configurations that enables the OSGi console automatically.

Improved Platform : Regular _expression_ content assist in the find/replace overlay across all supported editors, zoom in and zoom out options in the console view, search filter for markers in the
Problems, Tasks and Bookmarks views, visual indicators for active launches and relative execution times for recently executed configurations in the launch configuration history, and a new option in the debug view to resume all suspended threads except the
selected thread.
