[eclipse-dev] Retire e4 sub project?

Hi,

the e4 sub project has been inactive for a while. AFAIK the spies were
the only active component in the last years and we migrated them to
PDE.

Do we still need the project or shall we retire it and do any
innovation directly in the regular project?
