Re: [eclipse-dev] [platform-dev] Experience with Github migration

Hi Eclipse Developers,

I installed XSB (Prolog) but I have been unable to configure the interpreter for Eclipse to be used with Prolog files (*.pro extension).  Can somebody look into it.

Regards,

Hi Sravan,

Thanks for that. I think that while some questions do remain open, most committers have managed to get more and more comfortable with GitHub and the development pace has not been drastically hurt by this migration. We also see some nice addiitons to the development flow as a side-effect of the migration, leveraging some GitHub capabilities like reusable workflows for some checks. So thanks to everyone in making it possible, every comment, question, suggestion has helped to minimize the pain and to grow the value we can aim at obtaining!
I've tweeted https://twitter.com/EclipseJavaIDE/status/1513799199657238531 to share this achievement to the wider community, and hopefully engage a few new people in contributing. If you use twitter, and retweet is welcome!
We may see some new (and newb) people trying to contribute in the next weeks/months. Let's be welcoming and patient with them. They're may become the ones who'll be able to work on issues most of us couldn't address so far!

Cheers,
