[eclipse-dev] Eclipse Fast Track access is dead

Friends of Eclipse,
the PMC decided to drop the "Fast Track Access". This was designed for
disfunctional or abandoned projects within the Eclipse Top Level
project to allow interested committers from other projects to help.
As we only have three projects (JDT, Platform, PDE) and as all of them
are very active we do not have such projects anymore.
So nomination of committers is again based on the contributions and
the behavior of the individual.
The PMC also discussed that contributions and behavior in other
sub-projects can be considered for the nomination. For example, if
someone is a great JDT committer the nomination to PDE committer can
consider that this person already knows our processes and has proven
his or her skills in working with the Eclipse code base.
