Hi, 

 

Eclipse Photon RC2 is this week with a goal to deliver on May 25, 2017. 

The build schedule has been updated and can be downloaded from here. Freeze plan can read here.

 

Fix approval: Two additional committers must +1 your bug report. All changes must have their associated bug reports tagged 4.8 RC2. Ongoing changes to component documentation, tests or examples do not require approval. 

 

Schedule

• Wednesday 8 PM Eastern: RC1 candidate Build  
• Thursday: 1-day test pass against RC1 and sign-off
• Friday: Build is officially declared and made available.
• The master branch stays closed until the milestone is officially released. (That is, it is not enough that your component has signed off.)

No new code changes can be made until the milestone is officially declared. That is, it is not enough that your component has signed off.

Readme and Acknowledgements are due for this milestone.
