[eclipse-dev] Considering a respin for M6

CDT has discovered a behaviour introduced in the Platform in M6:

Bug 374795 - 
      Open Element dialog (CDT) has text field disabled in 3.8M6

Problem:

When you open the CDT Open Type dialog and nothing is selected, the filter field is disabled and you can't type anything.  If you open the dialog with a selection the filter field is enabled, but as soon as you delete the filter to start typing it becomes disabled again.

We're investigating a fix or a revert right now.

I believe that breaking Open Type is serious enough to warrant a respin of the M6 build.  When we have a fix I'll request PMC approval on the bug.  If you don't feel a respin is necessary, please comment on the bug.
