If you need Eclipse on Solaris x86... the Sun team provides a package
but it has the limitation of all Eclipse instances distributed by
distro providers. There is no substitute for downloading a build from
the Eclipse Foundation.

your own Eclipse distro. It is relatively straightforward and quick to
