RE: [eclipse-dev] eclipse 3.0 M3 now available

I was reading the New and Noteworthy news for M3. I came across the
following line and did not understand it.

"The Eclipse Java compiler in 1.4 mode is JCK1.4a compliant; in 1.3 mode
it's JCK1.3a compliant."

What is JCK1.4a. Does this mean that you know support java Generics?

Eclipse 3.0 milestone 3 (M3) is now available for download from
http://eclipse.org/downloads/index.php
This drop is in the process of being propagated to the various mirror
sites, which usually takes a day or so.

For people who already downloaded this afternoon's integration build
(20030828 18:13), there's no need to download M3 - it's the same.

For a summary of new and noteworthy features in the Eclipse 3.0
milestone M3 build, point your browser at:
