Re: [ecf-dev] Culling Inactive Committers - PLEASE READ and respond before March 18

Hello Scott,

I have been inactive for a while but wish to remain active.

I will reengage with the bug [0] concerning ecf with felix.

Hi Folks,

Every year, I attempt to cull ECF's committer list, so that it accurately reflects the list of committers that are actually working on the ECF project and should have ECF commit rights.  I would like to do this again prior to EclipseCon 2011, which means doing it over the next few weeks.

According to the Eclipse Foundation, here's ECF's list of active/inactive committers:

http://www.eclipse.org/projects/project_summary.php?projectid=rt.ecf

The list of inactive committers includes several committers that I know to be active...but since they've not been committing code changes recently, they are listed as inactive, even though they have been doing other important things like documentation, preparing review materials, releng/build, and working on presentations.  These are the committers listed as inactive that I'm aware of that have been doing other things:

Mustafa Isik
Harshana Eranga Martin
Sebastian Schmidt

This leaves the following committers listed as inactive:

Ted Kubaska
Marcelo Mayworm
Roland Ndaka Fru
Pierre-Henry Perret
Nuwan Samarasekera
Holger Staudacher
Remy Suen

*If you appear in this list, and wish to retain your ECF commit rights, please let me know*...i.e. by responding to this message, and/or sending me an email directly (slewis at composent.com).  If I don't hear from those on this inactive list before March 18, I will expire the commit rights for these folks sometime after March 18.  This will open things up for new ECF committers moving forward.

Thanks,

Scott
