[ease-dev] Upgrade to BREE of Java 7 or 8

Hi Christian,

Can we consider upgrading BREE to Java 7 or (even better) Java 8. 

This might be a good time to do it because a recentish commit [1] used java nio despite the BREE being JavaSE-1.6 for the project. At the moment the BREE is causing language features of newer Javas to not be used, but does not prevent newer lib features being used as that is determined by the build.

Would you accept a gerrit for Java 8 across the board? If not, Java 7?

Note that the platform for Neon are mostly moving to Java 8 as the BREE, just some places are hanging back (like SWT).
