Re: [ease-dev] GSoC activities

Hi,

I know that I've been quiet the last couple of weeks, but I had quite a lot to do (regarding refactoring and non-Eclipse stuff).

I am currently trying to change the javascript editor completion calculator to work with the new interface for EASE autocompletion. As some of you might know I extended the autocompletion interface to work in two steps. First it parses the input to a context object that holds information about the call-chain and the corresponding types and names of each item. Then it uses this context to create the actual proposals. For the editor autocompletion to work I "only" need to extend the first step to correctly parse the input and create the context.

Once the new interface is integrated it will be a lot easier to work together because then each of us can work on independent tasks within the same area.

Best regards,
Martin

Hi guys,

how are things going for GSoC? We do not have lots of time left and I would like to remind you that there is still a reasonable amount of work open. I would love to see more commits coming from your side. Also I miss you both communicating on this list to align your work. I am pretty sure you need to align so get that posts coming! While I hope that you are working on your topics I would not like to receive a single huge commit. Keep pushing small commits that are easier to review and test.

Three more weeks to go and I will be on vacation from 8th to 15th of august, so you will not get any feedback from my side during that period.

happy coding
Christian
