It would be best to look at the existing command completion stubs we already have for the script shell and the JSDT editor. Dive into the code, eventually you already find some bugs to fix there. Currently the code is just a proof of concept, so I am sure you will detect places to fix something.

For that GSoC project you might not find a related bug in Bugzilla yet.

Is it better to focus on Core related bug to get an idea of the project?

Am I in the right track or what are the areas that I should focus more?
