Re: [ease-dev] Scripting for models

Not a torch, it's a firework by now :)

There are some modeling modules around. They were developed by some guys
from PolarSys for a dedicated project and were not maintained any further.
I have little knowledge what they should do and if they work. So Pierre, if
you read this, what is the status for those modules?

ation

There are sample scripts available here:
https://git.eclipse.org/c/ease/org.eclipse.ease.core.git/tree/plugins/integr
ation
But I cannot comment on their status. In the end they should be migrated to
the scripts repository by their owners.

Currently there is no activity from the modeling community on EASE. So those
modules/scripts are looking for an owner.

We host some script interpreters on github as some licenses are not
compatible with eclipse. So we need to host them elsewhere.

The current download sites can be found here:
https://www.eclipse.org/ease/download/

Unfortunately, the external p2 server is said to be down for maintenance
during this week.

I played around with github.io to find an alternative download location, but
it seems github.io is not made to provide larger files - and thus update
sites.
As we are not allowed to host these bundles on eclipse.org directly, we are
looking for a permanent place to host these update sites. Ideas are very
welcome.
