Use the latest WindowBuilder with XWT support. AFAIK, the original XWT Designer wont be maintained anymore...
How does Xtend relate to XWT?

Frankly speaking I think XWT is dead. I've not seen any progress and
response from the those people since a long time. So do not use it.
Stick with Java or use Xtend if you want a cool alternative in the
Eclipse space.
