The first place to check is your .project file.  If that just lists batik (no version) then the next place to go is your launch config.  Go to Run>Run Configurations.   Select your app, and look at the Plugins tab.  Is batik there?  Is it selected?  You can use the validate button to see if eclipse can detect any unmet dependencies.
