Rob,
You've been with DTP since the very beginning and have been instrumental in
its success to date: thank you for your efforts, and best of luck in your
new position.
Given this situation, I would like to nominate Brian Fitzpatrick to lead
the Connectivity project. Brian too has been with DTP since the beginning,
and has been working closely with Rob in Connectivity. Following the
Eclipse process, I will take this nomination up with the DTP PMC in the
near future.
While Rob does not specify it in his resignation email, I believe that he
will continue to serve as Connectivity lead through the release of DTP 1.5
(Europa), after which his replacement would take over. (Rob: If this is
incorrect, please let us know.)

Hey all,
I will be resigning my position as Connectivity Project Lead at the end of
June. I am transferring to another group within Sybase and will not have
time to properly fulfill the duties of a project lead.
It's been a pleasure working with all of you. I wish the best to all of
you and the DTP project.
