Would it be desirable to display a dependencies node only when

Anthos,
Not necessarily the case, since you can have a column which is a
domain
or
user defined data type - UDT (UDT is modeled in SQLModel) in such
case,
you
would need a dependency from column to domain or UDT object.

Re: [dtp-dev] Few clarifications
The Dependancy Nodes would need to be selectively displayed on DSE;
For eg:-
1. will be displayed for a column which is a foreign key to another
table.
2. may not display the Dependancy node for View node.
Did that make sense ?

Right, basically, the db vendor doc will have the additional
attribute
such as
'isDependency' supported for tooling to query, if a specific vendor
decides
not to show the dependency then it will not be displayed in DSE.

Re: [dtp-dev] Few clarifications
Usage is one side; but there are cases where the Dependancies node
is not
desired.

Rob and John,

Rob, Der-Ping:
There's another bug discussing the same (or just similar?) issue,
and its
been around for too long. The latest annotations say that removing
the
dependencies nodes is blocked by changes required in Model Base.
Can't we
get the long standing issue sorted out?

1. The Dependancies node seems to appear everywhere on
DSE.
Can
it be selectively disabled ?
