Right, basically, the db vendor doc will have the additional attribute such as 'isDependency' supported for tooling to query, if a specific vendor decides not to show the dependency then it will not be displayed in DSE.

Usage is one side; but there are cases where the Dependancies node is not desired.

Rob, Der-Ping:

There's another bug discussing the same (or just similar?) issue, and its
been around for too long. The latest annotations say that removing the
dependencies nodes is blocked by changes required in Model Base. Can't we
get the long standing issue sorted out?

           1. The Dependancies node seems to appear everywhere on DSE. Can
           it be selectively disabled ?
