Re: [dtp-connect-dev] Vote for Committer status for Brian Payton has started

Thanks Brian Fitz,

I just voted (+1) on the portal. Brian will be an outstanding contributor to the connectivity component.

Thanks,

[dtp-connect-dev] Vote for Committer status for Brian Payton has        started

datatools.connectivity Committers,
This automatically generated message signals that Brian Fitzpatrick has
nominated Brian Payton as a Committer on the datatools.connectivity
project. The reason given is as follows:

Hi all...

With recent changes in staffing from IBM and impending contributions from
IBM in Connectivity, it makes sense to nominate Brian Payton (our
illustrious PMC Lead & SQL Tools lead) to be able to help with those
contributions. Brian has been a great community member since the beginning
of DTP and has stepped up to help lead the project after I stepped down.

Please vote for Brian to be added to the committer list for Connectivity
when you get a chance.

Thanks!

The vote is being held via the MyFoundation portal: voters *must* use the
portal for the votes to be properly recorded.  The voting will continue
until either all 6 existing Committers have voted or until they have been
given enough time to vote, even if they do not do so (defined as at least
one week). Brian Payton must receive at least three +1s and no -1s for a
successful election.

Eligible Committers must cast their votes through their My Foundation
portal page (do NOT just reply to this email; your vote will not be
correctly recorded unless you use the portal):

   http://portal.eclipse.org/

The project Committers eligible to vote are:

   Linda Chan
   Yasuo Doshiro
   Brian Fitzpatrick
   Xiaoying Gu
   Loic JULIEN
   Lin Zhu

*NOTE*: Successful elections are left open for a maximum of 60 days to
allow for processing of paperwork.  After that time the election will be
expired, regardless of its current status.  Should papework processing on
the part of the candidate take more time than allowed, a new election will
have to be held.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact your project
lead, PMC member, or the EMO <emo@xxxxxxxxxxx>

You must subscribe to mailing lists before you can post to them, using
the same e-mail address as the one you're using to send e-mail.
However, technical questions and discussions about using eclipse and
eclipse-based tools, and developing plug-in tools should be posted to
the newsgroups at http://www.eclipse.org/newsgroups/ .

Mailing list suffixed with -dev, such as eclipse-dev and platform-dev
are intended for use by developers actually working on or otherwise
contributing to day-to-day development. The development mailing lists
are the way design and implementation issues are discussed and
decisions voted on by the committers.
