Re: [dtp-connect-dev] DB version in the Data Source Explorer
|
Hi Stefan...
The version that comes back is the version
reported by the JDBC driver - whatever that happens to be. I think in all
cases I can recall, that seems to be the version returned by the databases
themselves, not the driver.

Subject
| [dtp-connect-dev] DB version in the
Data Source Explorer |
|
Hello,
In the 'Data Source Explorer' under the node
'Database Connections' are seen the available database connections. When
the Eclipse (Ganymede or Galileo) is connected to a data source through
some of this connections in the node label you may see (closed in parenthesis)
the DB version. For example: New MaxDB (MaxDB v. 7.7.4). My
question is:
Is there shown the DB driver version or the
actual version of the DB with which Eclipse is connected?
Best wishes!
