Sorry for not making the reasons clear.
The test cases are not translated hence there is no need to
externalize strings unless you are testing the message facilities.
However, when testing the model, I find myself creating lots of named
objects and using strings for things like descriptions as well. Its
just easier to be able to ignore the messages in this case.

OK for me... we may need many Strings in the tests but none of them
will be externalized, I suppose.
