The strange thing is I just looked at the .project files from the extract of the zip and, for me, the names look okay. I'm not sure how the .projects could have been swapped.

In org.eclipse.rse.subsystems.files.local, the project name in .project is org.eclipse.rse.subsystems.files.dstore (dstore instead of local!) Same thing with org.eclipse.rse.subsystems.shells.local (dstore instead of local in the project name in the .project file) Finally, not a eclipse platform bug.
