RE: [dsdp-tcf-dev] EclipseCon talk(s) about TM / RSE / TCF ?

Hi all,

while I agree that an interactive meeting (read: BOF) on TCF will perhaps be most valuable for the
current gang using TCF, I also think it's important to continue talking about TCF for those who are
not that intimate with it yet.

I thus submitted a 25-minute talk on TCF concepts and news, just to be sure that one is in the

Please look at the abstract and give feedback whether it's accurate, sounds interesting, and covers
the topics that you'd like to hear about (or like to tell the world about). I'd also like to invite
any interested person to act as a co-speaker (or take over the talk if you want).

Please provide feedback here on the mailing list, or use the EclipseCon submission system
commenting feature.

Thanks,
Martin

I like the idea of having an interactive meeting rather than an presentation, so I would be happy to join that.

Talk or not, we will set up a time to talk about TCF. I believe Ken Ryall will be there, and hopefully others. We need to plot out it's future and try and get everyone on the same page.

Hi all,

Personally I think a talk on TCF would be very interesting indeed. It may even be what I need for traveling all the way to California next year. Especially considering that we are adopting TCF these days and I'm likely to spend a good part of next year with it, CDT and EDC.

I also agree with Doug. Considering all the activity in this area I think it is very important to share information.

A talk on TCF would be critical given all the activity happening in this area. Is there anything in the works for that?

TM committers and community,

as you are likely aware, the deadline for submitting talks to EclipseCon 2010 is this Friday Dec 18.

I am currently not planning to submit anything, though I might be swayed by good arguments.

Is anybody else going to submit something?

Thanks,
Martin
