Re: [dsdp-pmc] Web Tools for Mobile Project
|
Hi Martin,
I've had a few conversations with Wayne from Blinki. When I last talked to him, we discussed what had been done in Blinki so far. Also, Wayne said that he was mostly working on other things now.
I'll file the bug. Thanks for the pointer.

Hi Paul,

Have
you been in touch with any people from Blinki?
Overlap between projects is usually not a good thing. I
think the least that we need
to do
is (a) clearly document any overlap, such that people know where to go for
what,
and
(b) ensure that projects with overlapping scope talk to each
other.
Thanks,

Project
Thanks for the comments Doug and Martin.
Tools for Mobile Web
works for me.
There is definitely some overlap between TMW and
Blinki. In some sense, TMW could be considered a reboot of
Blinki.
The focus of the two projects is not exactly the same.
Blinki was very focused on the deployment piece of Web development, where TMW is
more of an integration project pulling together various open source components
to produce a full IDE for mobile web developers.
I'll make the fix to the
mentor section. Any other volunteers?
Thanks,
Paul
