I’m glad you are interested to contribute to mtj. The best way to
start is to setup your development environment and after that take a look at
the bugs that are open on the bugzilla. If you have a patch that solves some
of them, attach to the bug that some of the committers will review it.

Hi Everybody:
I want to get involve in contributing source code to this group
"Mobile Tools for Java". I had experience in past in developing
Bluetooth, Sound and GPS libraries in C++ for the smartphone on Pocket PC
environment.
How do I start getting involved? Also do I require the
blackberry/smarphones to test/build the applications. Please guide me
