I’m glad you are interested to work on
MTJ. Based on eclipse development process, first we start sending contributions
to the project. So the plan is: develop the feature / bug ; generate a patch of
it (right click on projects - > Team - > Create Patch) ; attach the patch
to the bug. On mtj page there is a link to the page that describe out bug
process (http://www.eclipse.org/dsdp/mtj/development/bug_process.php).; after
that the code is analyzed and if everything is ok we can add the changes to
SVN. After a contributor submitted some patches, MTJ committers can evaluate to
add him as a project committer.
About code documentation, unfortunately
there is not a lot right now. We learned implemented some features (just like
this one). But, if you have some specific question about the code, send to us
and we will do our best to help you.

How I can join to commiters? Do I need to continue through http://www.eclipse.org/membership/become_a_member/

I download source code from SVN. Import project to eclipse and tried to make
some changes... Everything works fine. I'm ready to help.. So, where is I can
get some documentation about source code of MTJ? What is where, etc.
