the issue happened because of the obfuscator. when i disabled the obfuscator it worked ok and i was able to build and run both on motosdk and in wtk. about CDC, which SDK you guys used in the initial testing ? suns java tools for CDC?

I think that there has not been so much testing done against the Moto SDK's.

 

Are you trying the CLDC project?

Also one issue was at some point that the runtime jdk was not set correctly.

 

The CDC project has not been tested so well neither.

i tested with our motorola sdk and also with wtk 2.5 and saw the same problem. the configuration that i'm using is:

eclipse-SDK-3.3.1.1-win32

emf-sdo-xsd-SDK-2.3.1.zip

GEF-runtime-3.3.1.zip

VE-runtime-1.2.3_jem.zip

hsqldb.jar / Version: 1.8.0
xercesImpl.jar / Xerces-J 2.6.2
xml-apis.jar / XmlCommonsExternal 1.2.01
jdom-b9.jar / Version 1.0beta9

 

i'm note sure if the issue is because if the new eclipse version (the download page suggests 3.3m6). i will try to download the old one that is suggested there and see if it works. one i have more news i send to the list

The last time I tried, I was able to build and run.  That was with the current code base, but was several months ago.  There should not be any problems if you have the SDK defined and a project.  I assume you are using a Motorola UEI-based device.  Can you provide more details.

Hi,

I'm trying to run mtj with the latest nightly build. I'm able to create a project but i'm not able to build / run it. When i try to build there is an error message "Could not find the main class".

Was anyone able to build projects and run in the latest nightly build ??? I'm able to do that in the 0.7 release
