The preferred solution for this is to use the virtual help
server for DSDP. (Mika knows this already, as we have discussed it several times
on the PMC calls.) It’s externally visible at http://dsdp.eclipse.org/help/latest/.
Your build process can automatically populate this content by copying your doc
plug-in to the virtual server after each build. You can then link to this from
you web page. We provide links to our on-line docs in the TM and DD projects
here, and we’re working on getting NAB up there soon. There is some basic
information here, but
it would be easier to ping Martin Oberhuber on the PMC to get started with the
setup.
It is also possible to link directly to files in CVS, e.g.:
http://dev.eclipse.org/viewcvs/index.cgi/%7Echeckout%7E/org.eclipse.mtj/org.eclipse.mtj/plugins/org.eclipse.mtj.doc/doc/Getting_started_with_the_help.htm?cvsroot=DSDP_Project
However, this won’t work for exploring all of the contents of
the doc plug-in. It’s really only useful for single links into CVS.
BTW, I preparing for press interviews this week where I’ll be
talking about milestone releases of several of the projects. This is why I’m
checking for information. Many of the press folks are very technical and will
want to dig deeper.

There is a getting started document that
includes tutorial that are part of the user documentation. These are not
currently available outside of the installation or CVS site.

[dsdp-mtj-dev] Documents?

Hi guys,
Do you have any getting started documentation for MTJ? I saw the Use Cases and
the “Mobile Application Development Process” presentation (wow). I’m looking
for something simply that talks about how to get going.
Thanks,
Doug
