Hi folks,
As you know, a subset of the DD group is working on additional
improvements to DSF and also on the GDB/mi services implementation. We
are meeting weekly to discuss implementation issues/questions for those folks building
debugger connections to DSF.
I wanted to remind those implementers that there will be a face-to-face
coding camp in Alameda in May. This meeting is NOT a general DD
meeting, but is instead focused on the GDB/mi implementation under DSF. It
is open to anyone who wants to attend, of course. If you are currently
trying to connect your debugger to DSF, and you need some technical assistance,
you may benefit.
The coding camp will run Monday – Friday, including
the entire days on Monday and Friday. Pawel will lead the camp. He’s
working out the specifics now. Ted, Randy, and I will also attend. Please
note that this is intended to be 1-on-1 help for implementers and not a series
of powerpoint presentations (hooray!).
I would like to skip our May general DD meeting and resume our
monthly meetings in June (email to follow in May). From our last
face-to-face, it’s clear that the GDB/mi implementation is most important
right now, and we need the Platform Debug guys to get through Europa before we
tackle the next big issues for DD, e.g. multi-core support.
