Thanks for getting in touch. Yes I think the project can be terminated, sorry it didn't work out. I think my friends and ex-colleagues at DLS have moved to a more internal release schedule and do not need the open source project any longer. In addition it never fulfilled a need for the community because it was just the API and the implementation was kept in the main DAWN project.

Hopefully Peter's "January" project will continue separately to this however. It is generally useful as it does provide an implementation which has been used.
