Thanks for the notification. Some important PR/jobs to look at for Eclipse ecosystem to provide a minimal validation of upcoming Maven releases are

* m2e: https://github.com/eclipse-m2e/m2e-core/pull/602

* Tycho: https://ci.eclipse.org/tycho/job/tycho-build-with-maven-snapshots/

Issues on those jobs should be investigated. If those can be properly fixed on project side and then build/tests pass, then we can vote +1 for this Maven release; if some new bugs are shown and analysis indicates they are really Maven bugs, then projects should vote -1 for this Maven release.

Regressions with Maven are quite frequent, so it's safer to assume that there is probably a bug by default ;)
