That's right.
We'll see when we start adopting it in EPP. Maybe we could try to have JustJ shipping a whole JDK for the case of Java-centric packages. Anyway, I wouldn't brainstorm too much about it right now as there are still important and enlightening intermediary steps to perform first.

Yes we can communicate more broadly.  An article in the newsletter is forthcoming too.

One of my most significant remaining concerns is the update channel for new versions of the JRE.   I'm not sure we should be putting the JREs in the release train repository, for example..

I imagine EPP could take care of it -at least partly- as it defined the available update sites. We'll discuss that a bit later after 2020-06 is done, when we start playing with JustJ in EPP.
