Re: [cross-project-issues-dev] Removal of PMF.aggrcon

Hi Ed.

In an August 15 note to the Eclipse Planning Council, I indicated that this project had been scheduled for termination and that I would ask Fred to remove the aggrcon file.

The process around the simultaneous release is silent in terms of the process for removing a participant. In the past, we've just disabled and then removed the aggrcon file for absent projects. In this particular case, disabling makes no sense; we should just remove it.

The termination review is scheduled to conclude tomorrow. I completely forgot to ask Fred to remove the aggrcon file.

I've opened Bug 550716 with that request.

Hi,

I'm not sure if I should open a Bugzilla for this specific request?  If so, where should I open it?

I would like to suggest that we remove PMF from the train.  It's the source of a number of quality issues, i.e., pretty much every type of problem a project could possibly have:

The project has not been participating for a very long time:

And in fact I think the underlying project should be archived because there have been no commits in years:

Clearly something like this does not belong on our high-quality train.

Regards,
Ed
