Our bandwidth was all consumed.
After looking into it, the transparent
mirror mechanism was operating in Fail Safe mode by letting
download.e.o serve everything it was asked to serve (requests to
the website's mirror locator were unaffected). I've cleared the
condition, so things should speed up now.
The condition would have (eventually)
cleared itself up once download.e.o would have regained
confidence in its mirrors.
